Capital Region Language Center

Capital Region Language Center, formerly Las Mariposas Language Center, has two locations:  Malta and Colonie, New York. Each location is conveniently located just a minute or two off of the Northway. We invite your whole family to learn a language in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.  We run year-round with three sessions of classes:  Fall, Spring and Summer.  We teach practically 50 weeks per year!

  • Small group classes for adults, teens and children
  • Private classes for adults and teens
  • Home school classes
  • Classes at preschools and private schools
  • Tutoring for secondary school and university students
  • Corporate language classes

We are the Capital Region's fastest growing Language Center with more than 60 classes being taught weekly. 

We are currently offering classes in American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
