All 9 week-long sessions for group classes cost $340.20. Private lessons are $50.00 / hour.

We have daytime flexibility as well for a beginning class or for private classes. Please call to let us know what your schedule is and how we can accommodate you.

Can't make it to Ballston Spa and would prefer that someone travel to you to teach Spanish or French?  Currently we offer Spanish, French and Portuguese classes in Albany too. Call or email to see what our availability is for off-site classes or private lessons.

At Las Mariposas we teach a full-range of adult language classes. For more advanced students, it is important for us to do a brief assessment before you begin class. This way, we can ensure that you join the appropriate level. Language evaluations cost $25.00 for the 30-minute long assessment. Please call to schedule an appointment with one of the language instructors.

Language classes are 90 minutes long. Classes meet a minimum of once a week, and emphasize conversation skills. If you would like additional class time during the week our instructors are available for one-on-one classes. We also have native speakers available to schedule classes so that you can practice your new conversation skills.

We offer a strong program with small class sizes (maximum of 6) that ensures you a solid foundation. However, if you are looking to learn Spanish quickly, we encourage you to inquire at local universities for more intensive programs.

Cost
When you register for a class, you register for a multi-week session. The class tuition is then based on the length of that session. If you join a class that is in session the tuition is prorated. Special rates apply to certain classes. Please read adult class descriptions for more information.
