Our students have varied reasons for wanting to learn another language. Many adults want their children to experience a different culture through their education in a second or third language. Some adults are motivated by business needs. Others are married to native speakers but can't speak Spanish themselves. And then there are those people who come to learn simply for the joy of being able to speak a second (or third) language.

Students can choose to learn in a group or individually. Regardless of the type of instruction, Las Mariposas students get to know each other in the social atmosphere of the school. In addition to classes, Las Mariposas sponsors movie nights, cultural field trips, holiday gatherings, First Fridays and multicultural art classes.
